David C. Larson is a district associate judge of District 3A of Iowa. He was appointed to this position in 1998 after serving as an alternate district associate judge since 1983.[1] He was retained on November 2, 2010 to a 6-year term which will expire on January 1, 2017.[2][3]

Education

Larson graduated from Iowa State University and then went on to receive his law degree from the Creighton School of Law.[1]

Legal career

Larson worked as a private practice lawyer for 17 years. He also worked as an alternate district associate judge from 1983 until he was appointed to a full-time position on the court in 1998.[1]

2010 election

Larson was retained on November 2, 2010 with 61.87% of the vote.[2][4]
