David Dickinson was a judge for the Colorado Sixth Judicial District Court. He was appointed to this position in December of 1998 and he retired at the end of February 2013.[1][2]

Education

Dickinson graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a degree in metallurgical engineering in 1964. He then received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1976.[1]

Legal career

Dickinson began his career working as a La Plata County Attorney and an Assistant City Attorney for both the City and County of Denver. He then became a private practice lawyer. At the time of his judicial appointment in 1998, he was a solo practitioner specializing in real estate, commercial and business litigation and local government law.[1]
