David Lycurgus Middlebrooks, Jr. (1926-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Lycurgus was nominated by President Richard Nixon on October 6, 1969, to a seat vacated by George Carswell; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 10, 1969, and received commission the next day. He resigned on August 1, 1974. Middlebrooks was succeeded in this position by William Stafford.
