David Thomas Lewis was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit[1].

David Lewis was nominated by Dwight Eisenhower on May 17, 1956. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 4, 1956 and received his commission on June 5th. Lewis served as chief judge from 1970-1977, and assumed senior status on December 3, 1977. His service ended with his death on September 29, 1983.
