Donald Corbin

Donald L. Corbin has served on the Arkansas Supreme Court since 1991.[1] He was re-elected on May 23, 2006 and his 8-year term ends in 2014.[2]

Biography

Justice Corbin received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.[1]

Legal career

Justice Corbin began his career in 1966 as a private practice lawyer. He then served five terms in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1971 to 1980. From 1981-1990 he served as a judge on the Arkansas Court of Appeals, and was appointed Chief Justice of that court in January 1987. He would serve in that capacity until moving to the Arkansas Supreme Court.[1]
