Donald W. Hafele is a judge of the 15th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Charlie Crist on October 22, 2008. He replaced the late Judge Jeffrey Winikoff. He ran unopposed and was retained in the August 24, 2010 primary to a six-year term that ends on January 2, 2017.[1][2][3]


Hafele received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Miami in 1979 and 1982, respectively.[4]


Hafele worked as a civil litigator from 1982 until 1999, when he was appointed to the Palm Beach County Court. There he served as the administrative judge of the civil division from 2000 to 2005. He was elevated to the circuit court in 2008.[4]

2010 election

Hafele ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[2]
