Douglas J. Miles is a judge on the El Paso County Court in Colorado. He was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to a term beginning on January 1, 2011. [1]
Education
Miles received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in 1972 and his J.D. in 1984 from the University of Colorado. [1]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Miles as the attorney adviser to Aequitas: The Prosecutors' Resource on Violence Against Women. He has also served the chief deputy district attorney in the Colorado Fourth Judicial District. [1]
