E. Jeanette Ogden is a judge of the Buffalo City Court in New York. She was appointed to this position in June of 1995 and was elected to a full term in November of that year. She was re-elected in 2005 to another ten-year term which ends in 2015. She also serves as an acting judge for the County and Family Courts of Erie County, New York. She was appointed acting judge of the County Court in 2001 and of the Family Court in 2003.

Education

Ogden received her B.S. degree from Buffalo State College in 1977 and her J.D. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1983.

Legal career

Ogden has taught as an adjunct instructor at Buffalo State College from 1998 to 2001 and at S.U.N.Y. - Buffalo Law School since 1997. She joined the City Court bench in 1995. She also serves as an Acting County and Family Court Judge.
