Edward Dufresne

Edward A. Dufresne, Jr. currently serves as a judge on the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal. He is a 1956 graduate of Saint Stanislaus College.

2006 Land Sale

According to The Times-Picayune, in July 2006 the St. Charles Parish School Board approved the purchase of roughly two acres of land along Sugarland parkway to be used as a new maintenance facility. The land was owned by Esperanza Land LLC, a company partly owned by Judge Dufresne, who offered to donate $15,000 to the school district after the sale.^[1]
