Judicial career
Eastern District of New York
Judge Korman was nominated to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York by Ronald Reagan on October 2, 1985, to a new seat created by 98 Stat. 333. He was confirmed by the Senate on November 1, 1985 and received his commission on November 4, 1985. Korman served as chief judge of the court from 2000-2007. He assumed senior status on October 25, 2007. [1]
