Edward S. Wilson is a Minnesota Second Judicial District judge for Ramsey County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position by Gov. Perpich in 1987 and was elected to a full term the following year. He was re-elected in 1994, 2000, 2006, and 2012 and his current term expires in January of 2019.[1] He is running for re-election in 2012.

Education

Wilson received his B.A. degree from Macalester College in 1970 and his J.D. degree from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1974.[1]

Career

Judge Wilson began his legal career in 1974 working with the Legal Aid Society of Minneapolis. He then worked for the Neighborhood Justice Center in St. Paul from 1979 until his 1987 judicial appointment.[1]

2012 election

Wilson ran unopposed in the general election November 6, 2012. [2] He received 98.59% of the vote.[3]
