Eileen Moore

Eileen C. Moore is a judge on the Fourth District, Third Division of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed by Governor Davis and, after her confirmation, took the oath of office on December 22, 2000. She was retained by voters on November 5, 2002. Her current term ends on January 3, 2011.[1]

Biography

Eileen Moore was born in 1944. A graduate of the Women's Medical College School of Nursing, she worked as a nurse from 1965 to 1972, and spent time as a combat nurse in Vietnam. After this, she attended the University of California at Irvine, graduating in 1975. She received her law degree (J.D.) from Pepperdine University in 1978.[2][3][4]

Legal career

After graduating from law school, Eileen Moore worked in the Law Offices of Herbert Hafif until 1989. That year, she was appointed to the Orange County Superior Court, where she served until her appointment to the Court of Appeals in 2000.[2][3]
