Elizabeth Pickett

Elizabeth A. Pickett is a judge in the Louisiana Court of Appeal Third Circuit. She was elected to this position in 1997 and re-elected in 2002.[1]
Biography
Judge Pickett was born in Sabine Parish. She graduated from Tulane Law School in 1984.[1]
Legal career
From 1984 to 1990, Judge Pickett ran a private law practice in Sabine. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney for the 11th Judicial District Court. When her father retired from judging on the 11th Judicial District, she ran for his seat. She was elected a District Judge in 1990 and held that position until 1997.[1]
