Erika Hadlock appointed to Court of Appeals

Oregon: Governor John Kitzhaber has appointed former Assistant Attorney General Erika L. Hadlock to the Oregon Court of Appeals. The appointment comes roughly 6 weeks after the retirement of Justice Ellen Rosenblum. Hadlock is a former senior assistant attorney general with the Department of Justice. She has served the Department of Justice on and off since 1995. Governor Kitzhaber said, "Erika Hadlock will bring extensive knowledge and experience in civil, administrative, and criminal law[.] I am very pleased to appoint a lawyer with her work ethic and diverse experience,and I am confident that her service on the bench will be an asset to all Oregonians as she joins one of the hardest working appellate courts in the nation."
