Esther Salas

Esther Salas is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. She was appointed to this position on November 3, 2006.^[1]

Education

Judge Salas earned her B.A. degree from Rutgers University and her J.D. degree from the Rutgers University School of Law at Newark.^[2]

Career

Esther Salas began her career as a clerk for Superior Court Judge Eugene Codey. Prior to becoming a judge, Salas worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the District of New Jersey.^[2]
