Fayette County is in the 24th Circuit of Alabama, along with Lamar and Pickens counties.[1]
The people of Fayette County are served by a Circuit Court, District Court, Probate Court and two Municipal Courts.
The United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama has jurisdiction in Fayette County. Appeals from the Northern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
