Felix Frankfurter

Felix Frakfurter (1882-1965) was an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on January 5, 1939 to replace Benjamin Nathan Cardozo. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 17th, and received commission on January 20th. On August 28, 1962, he assumed senior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death on February 22, 1965.[1]
