Florida Supreme Court disallows courts from hiding criminal cases from the public

Florida: The Florida Supreme Court ruled on Thursday, March 18, that prevents judges and court clerks from hiding criminal court cases from public view. In addition to the ban on secrecy, the Supreme Court also craft some new rules that prevent courts from falsifying records to hide informants, a practice that was apparently common even though it was already illegal. The practice of judges and court clerks making civil court cases secret from the public was banned by the state Supreme Court three years ago.
