Florida Supreme Court disbars lawyer

Florida: On May 25, the Florida Supreme Court disbarred lawyer W. Ben Stewart. He was accused of writing $279,000 in unauthorized checks to his personal savings from accounts at Americo Title Company in Sarasota, a company he used to work for. The investigation also found that he had improperly co-mingled accounts and changed computer records to disguise the transfers.[1]
