Francis Ford

Francis Joseph William Ford (1882-1975) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on June 9, 1938 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 15th, and received commission on June 24th. On July 1, 1972, he assumed senior status, serving in this capacity until his death on May 26, 1975.
