Early life and education
Allegra earned a B.A. at Borromeo College of Ohio in 1978. He went on to earn a J.D. in 1981 at Cleveland State University.
Prior to joining the court, Allegra was a Deputy Associate Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice from 1994 to 1998,. Previously, he also worked in the Tax Division as Counselor to the Assistant Attorney General.Cite error: Invalid
