Francis Muir Scarlett (1891-1971) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
Scarlett was nominated by President Harry Truman on January 24, 1946, to a seat vacated by Archibald Lovett; he was confirmed by the Senate on February 13, 1946, and received commission on February 14th. He assumed senior status on August 2, 1968, and served in that capacity until his death on November 18, 1971. Scarlett was succeeded in this position by Alexander Lawrence.
