Frank Jackson

Frank Y. Jackson is a judge on the Second District, Division Seven of the California Courts of Appeal. He was appointed to this position on May 16, 2008 by Governor Schwarzenegger.[1][2]
Biography
Frank Jackson was born in Southern California. He graduated from the University of Nevada in 1970 with a major in political science and a minor in economics. He received his law degree (J.D.) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1973. He is married with three children.[1]
Legal career
Frank Jackson began as an attorney for the law firm Cosgrove, Michelizzi, Schwabacher, Ward and Jackson in 1973. He specialized in family law and worked here until 1990. He also taught at Antelope Valley College, Golden Gate University, and La Verne University from 1974 to 2008. He served for three terms as a Justice Pro Tem in the Court of Appeal in Divisions One and Five. From 1990 to 1993, he was on the Antelope Municipal Court. He was then appointed to the Los Angeles County Superior Court.[1][2]
