Franklin L. Noel is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He has served in this position since November 2, 1989. He was reappointed in 1997 and 2005 and his current term ends on November 1, 2013.[1][2]

Education

Judge Noel received his law degree in 1977 from the Georgetown University Law Center.[1]

Career

Judge Noel began his career in 1977 with the law firm Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C. He then moved to Minnesota and worked from 1979 to 1983 as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. In 1989, he was appointed Magistrate Judge.[1]
