Gary E. Hicks has been an associate justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court since January 30, 2006. He was nominated to the court by Governor John Lynch, becoming the 104th person to serve on New Hampshire's highest court.[1]
Education
Justice Hicks graduated from Bucknell University in 1975 and Boston University Law School in 1978.[1]
Career
For 23 years and up to his Superior Court appointment, Justice Hicks practiced at the law firm of Wiggin & Nourie. He was then appointed to the New Hampshire Superior Court by Governor Jeanne Shaheen in 2001, where he served until his appointment to the New Hampshire Supreme Court in 2006.[1]
