Gene Donofrio

Gene Donofrio is a judge on the Ohio Seventh District Court of Appeals. He has served on this court since February of 1993[1]. He was re-elected to 6-year terms in 1998 and 2004[2] and he will be up for re-election again in 2010, when his current term ends.[3]
Biography
Justice Donofrio was born on September 2, 1953. He received his B.A. degree from Youngstown State University in 1975 and his J.D. degree from the University of Akron, College of Law in 1978. He is now married and has three children.[1]
Legal career
Justice Donofrio practiced law for 14 years before joining the Court of Appeals in 1993. He has also worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for the City of Youngstown and the County of Mahoning, the Mahoning County Treasurer, and an Ohio Assistant Attorney General.[1]
