George J. Limbert is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He has served in this position since November 8, 1999.[1]
Education
Judge Limbert received his B.A. degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1962, his J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1965 and his Master of Laws Degree from Case Western Reserve in 1971.[1]
Career
Judge Limbert began his career in 1965 as private practice lawyer in Youngstown, Ohio. He became a judge of the Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas in 1995. In 1997, he returned to the private practice of law, working in this capacity until his 1999 judicial appointment.[1]
