George R. Peck is a judge for the Nassau County Court in New York. He has served in this position since 2003 and his current term ends in 2012. He has also served on the Nassau County District Court since 1995.

Education

Peck received his B.A. degree from Hofstra University in 1964, his J.D. degree from St. John's University in 1966 and his LL.M. degree from New York University in 1967.

Legal career

Peck began his career in 1968 as an Assistant Nassau County District Attorney. He then worked from 1976 to 1977 as a law secretary of Judge Leo McGinety. He then returned to his former position on the Nassau County District Attorney's office, where he worked until he became a Nassau County District Court Judge in 1995. In 2003, he joined the Nassau County Court.
