Glenn B. Ansardi is the Division H judge for the 24th Judicial District in Louisiana. He was elected to this position on October 4, 2008 and his current term expires on December 31, 2014.

Education

Ansardi received his undergraduate degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1969 and his J.D. degree from Loyola University Law School in 1976.

Career

From 1969 to 1998, Ansardi was in the National Guard, where he served as a staff judge advocate and first chief of the Trial Defense Service before retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He served as a Louisiana Representative (District 92) from 1986 until his judicial election in 2008. Additionally, he was a partner and founding member of the law firm of Ansardi Maxwell & Power from 1987 to 2008. He has also worked as a magistrate and assistant city attorney in Kenner, LA. He was elected to the District Court in 2008.
