Glenn Suddaby is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.[1] He joined the court in 2008 after being nominated by President George W. Bush.
Early life and education
Suddaby graduated from SUNY-Plattsburgh with his Bachelor's degree in 1980 and later graduated from Syracuse Law with his J.D. degree in 1985[1].
Professional career
Suddaby began his legal career as a Assistant district attorney in the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office from 1985 to 1989 before becoming a private practice attorney licensed in the State of New York from 1989 to 1992 before returning to the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office as First chief assistant district attorney from 1992 to 2002 before being nominated by President George W. Bush as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of New York from 2002 to 2008[1].

Suddaby was nominated by President George W. Bush on December 11, 2007 to a seat vacated by Lawrence Kahn as Kahn assumed senior status. Suddaby was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on July 22, 2008 and received commission on August 29, 2008[1].
