Governor Scott appoints two to nominating commission

Florida: Yesterday, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointment of Janet C. Croom and Peter M. Feaman to the Fourth District Court of Appeal Judicial Nominating Commission. The commission is responsible for screening and recommending applicants for the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal. [1]

  • Janet C. Croom is a partner in a private law firm. In Florida, she has previously served on the Code and Rules of Evidence Committee, in addition to the Appellate Court Rules Committee for the Florida Bar Association.
  • Peter M. Feaman is a solo practitioner. He has previously served on nominating commissions for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit and the Fourth District Court of Appeal. [1]

Both appointees will serve terms effective July 15, 2011 that expire July 1, 2015. [1]
