Governor fills two Kansas District Court positions
On May 10, Glenn Braun, was appointed to the 23rd Judicial District. He has practiced law for 30 years and is currently a partner of Glassman, Bird, Braun & Schwartz, LLP. He will replace Thomas L. Toepfer, who passed away on April 30 of this year. Gov. Brownback stated, "Glenn’s active involvement in the community speaks volumes about his dedication to the people of Kansas. His qualifications for the court are exemplary, and I’m confident he will perform his duties with excellence and honor."
On May 11, Lori Ann Bolton Fleming, was appointed to the 11th Judicial District. She graduated from law school in 2001 and currently works as an Attorney of Counsel at Wilbert & Towner, P.A. She will replace Donald R. Noland, who retired on April 2 of this year. Gov. Brownback stated, "Lori’s knowledge and expertise on a wide variety of legal issues uniquely qualifies her for this position on the 11th District Court. She has a sharp legal mind that will serve her community well."
