Haiganush R. Bedrosian is the Chief Judge of the Rhode Island Family Court. She has served on this court since 1980. In October 2010, Governor Donald Carcieri nominated her to serve as Chief Judge of the court and she was sworn-in on December 17, 2010.

Education

Bedrosian received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School.

Career

Bedrosian was appointed to the Family Court in 1980. Prior to this, she worked in private practice and as a prosecutor.
