Harold Barefoot Sanders Jr. (1925-2008) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Sanders was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on February 6, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on April 24, 1979, and received commission on April 26, 1979. From 1989-1995, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on January 1, 1996. He served the Northern District of Texas until his death on September 21, 2008. [1]
