Harry E. Hull, Jr. is a judge on the Third District of the California Courts of Appeal. He was appointed by then-Governor Wilson and took his oath of office on February 9, 1998. He was re-elected on November 2, 2010 and his current term ends on January 3, 2023. [1]
Biography
Hull graduated from the University of Illinois in 1969 with a degree in business administration. He went on to receive his law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1972.[2]
Legal career
Harry Hull is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as the Judge Advocate for the General Corps from 1972 to 1976. He was also a circuit prosecutor from 1974 to 1976. After this, he became an Assistant United States Attorney. He became a sole practitioner for a while in 1979, and then became part of the law firm McDonough, Holland & Allen until 1995. He was then appointed to the Sacramento County Superior Court, where he served until his appointment to the Court of Appeals.[2][3]
