Henry S. Perkin (b. 1947) is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He was sworn into his position as a magistrate judge on March 2, 2007 for a renewable eight-year term that ends in 2015.[1]
He graduated from Duquesne University in 1969 and from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1972. Upon graduation, he clerked for Alfred T. Williams, Jr., President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County. Perkin went on to work as an Assistant Public Defender from 1975-1977 and as an Assistant District Attorney from 1977-1987 in Lehigh County. He served as the Lehigh County Solicitor from 1995 through 2006 and from 2006-2007 as the Solicitor for the City of Allentown. [1]
