Herbert J. Hutton (1937-2007) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Hutton was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on May 17, 1988, to a seat vacated by Clarence Newcomer; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1988,[1] and received commission the next day. He assumed senior status on September 6, 2003. He served the Eastern District of Pennsylvania until his death on April 8, 2007. Hutton was succeeded in this position by Paul Diamond.
