Irma Carrillo Ramirez is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas. She has served in this position since 2002.[1]

Biography and Education

Judge Ramirez was born in 1964. She received her B.A. degree from West Texas State University in 1986 and her J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1991.[1]

Career

Judge Ramirez began her career in 1991 with the firm Locke, Purnell, Rain, Harrell, LLP. In 1995, she became an Assistant U.S. Attorney. She worked in this position until becoming a magistrate judge in 2002.[1]
