James Lane Buckley (1923-present) is a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

Buckley was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on October 16, 1985, to a seat vacated by Edward Tamm; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 17, 1985, and received commission that same day. He assumed senior status on August 31, 1996.[1]

Education

Judge Buckley attended Yale University in 1943 to earn his Bachelor of Arts and in 1949 he received his Bachelor of Law degree from Yale Law School.[1]
