James F. Vano is a judge for the Tenth Judicial District of the District Courts in Kansas. He was appointed by Gov. Bill Graves in August of 2002 and was obligated to run for retention in 2012 to maintain his seat.[1] He was retained on Nov. 6, 2012 for a term that expires on December 31, 2016.[2][3]

Vano earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.[1]
