James Harris Baldwin (1876-1944) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of Montana.

He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on May 20, 1935 to replace George Bourquin. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 29th, and received commission on June 4th. He served until his death on October 26, 1944.[1] Baldwin was succeeded in this position by Robert Lewis Brown.
