James W. "Jim" McCann is a judge of the 19th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was elected on August 31, 2004. He ran unopposed and was retained in the 2010 primary to a 6 year term that ends on January 2, 2017.[1][2][3][4]

Education

McCann received his bachelor's degree from the University of Miami and his J.D. degree from the Nova University Law School.[5]

Career

McCann spent 26 years as a private practice lawyer in both the private and public sectors. He ran his own law practice from 1992 until he was elected to the circuit court in 2004.[5]

2010 election

McCann ran unopposed and was automatically retained to a new term.[3]
