Jason R. Aslinger is a judge on the Darke County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile/Probate Division. He was appointed by Governor John Kasich in March 2011 to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Michael D. McClurg. [1]

Aslinger defeated James Detling in the Republican primary on March 6, winning 64.75% of the vote. He will run unopposed in the general election on November 6, 2012. [2] [3]

Aslinger received his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1996. [1]
