Education
Guillemette received her B.a. degree (Psychology) from the University of Illinois and her J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law School.[3]
Career
Guillemette has worked in the Office of the Chief Judge, Expedited Child Support Department Domestic Relations Division and Juvenile Justice Division; as a legal advisor for the Illinois Secretary of State; an Assistant Attorney General; as regional counsel for the state Department of Children and Family Services; as an Assistant Rockford City Attorney; and as a solo practitioner practicing under the title Law Offices of Joanne Guillemette. Prior to her legal career, she was a social worker and teacher.[3]
