Eastern District of Pennsylvania
Slomsky was appointed to the court by President George W. Bush on July 24, 2008 to fill the seat previously occupied by James Giles. Slomsky was confirmed by the Senate on September 26, 2008 and commissioned on October 6, 2008.[2]
