John Cadwalader (1805-1879) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He was nominated by President James Buchanan on April 19, 1858. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 24, 1858, and received commission that same day.[1] He served until his death on January 26, 1879. Cadwalader was succeeded in this position by William Butler.
