John Danaher

John Anthony Danaher (1899-1990) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Danaher received a recess appointment from President Dwight Eisenhower on October 1, 1953, to a seat vacated by James M. Proctor; he was nominated on January 11, 1954, confirmed by the Senate on March 30, 1954, and received his commission on March 31st. He assumed senior status on January 22, 1969, and served in that capacity until his death on September 22, 1990.[1]
