John G. Davies (1929-present) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Davies was nominated by President Ronald Reagan on April 22, 1986, to a seat vacated by Cynthia Holcomb Hall; he was confirmed by the Senate on June 6, 1986, and received commission on June 9, 1986. He served the Central District of California until his retirement on July 18, 1998.
