John Fischer is a judge on the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals in Oklahoma. He joined this court in early 2007 and was retained by voters on November 4, 2008. He will face another retention election at the end of his term in 2016.[1] [2]
Education
Fischer attended he University of Oklahoma for his bachelor's degree, as well as his master's degree in English literature. He later attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law for his J.D.[1]
Legal career
From 1976 until 1980 Judge Fischer served as an assistant attorney general and from 1980 to 2006 he was in private practice.[1]
2010 election
Fischer was retained with 62.74% of the vote. [3]
