John Lahtinen

John Lahtinen is a judge on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Department. He has served in this position since March 6, 2000.[1]
Biography
Judge Lahtinen holds degrees from Colgate University and Albany Law School.[1]
Legal career
Judge Lahtinen began his legal career in 1971 as a private practice lawyer working in Plattsburgh, NY. He also worked as a law secretary to the late Justice Norman Harvey in the early 1970s. He later became a Clinton County special acting District Attorney and a Plattsburgh special acting City Court Judge. In 1997, he was appointed and elected to the Supreme Court of the State of New York, 4th Judicial District.[1]
